Last night was the most beautiful ever. April's daughter Alex turned 19 and there was a big bonfire on Ward's island with banjos and guitars and singing and wine. Please listen to all 3 recordings, they are my favourite. The crackling of the fire sounds like a dirty needle. The white spot in the video is the moon coming through tree branches, it was too dark to focus on anything besides it.

Then later Helena and Sarah and I sat together on a picnic bench listening to Bruce Springsteen under the moonlight. I wish the summer could last a bit longer.
